James grew up in Deep Cove and is a long time resident of North Vancouver. He graduated from UBC in 1998 with a B. Sc. in Microbiology/Immunology. He then graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. As a general dentist he has continued his dental education in the fields of Oral Sedation, Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry. As well as continued participation in dental study clubs.

Mitra has been in dentistry for over 18 years.

Her focus is to provide patients with the highest quality treatment while she creates an environment of trust & mutual respect.

She loves meeting new patients & building long term relationships with them.

Mitra enjoys surrounding herself with family & friends. She also loves the outdoors, travelling & discovering new urban restaurants.

Kristyn has been a hygienist for over 17 years. She completed her associates of Dental Hygiene in Texas and then finished her bachelors degree of Dental Science at UBC. She grew up in a small town in Alberta and moved to BC (the north shore) seven years ago. When Kristyn is not battling gingivitis you will find her hanging out at a playground with her 2 girls, spending time at the beach or enjoying being on the water on her paddle board. Kristyn also loves to get out and hike when she can.

Certified Dental Assistant

Bonnie was warmly welcomed to Pacific View Dental Clinic in Oct 2019, and has enjoyed being an integral part of the team, working with Dr Tjorhom and his staff. The interactions with all who come into this clinic provide great satisfaction to her. Bonnie takes pride in making the patients feel comfortable during their appointments and looks forward to her future at Pacific View Dental Clinic.

Patient Care Coordinator

Naz has worked in the dental field since 2005. She started her dental career with Dr Tjorhom at Dollarton Dental in the capacity of a dental assistant. In 2006 she added the field of patient care to her already existent breadth of knowledge. With a love of helping patients with their insurance claims and treatments a natural patient care coordinator was born. Now 16 years later with the world and industry continuously evolving her commitment to helping her patients navigate the changes has only become stronger. She is loving her full circle moment working alongside Dr Tjorhom where she began her dental journey.

Office Manager

Nicole is James' wife and one of the first people you may meet as she is often at the front desk but can also be found in the back helping out when needed. Nicole loves meeting people, traveling, cooking, skiing and being a mom to 3 busy girls!
